YaBB allows you to fill out a profile which tells people about
you. You can have your name, age, instant messenger information,
To change your profile, click the
option in the forum menu.
Passwords have no restrictions, but it is recommended that you
type at least 6 characters, using a combination of characters
and numbers. Both password fields must be the same, simply as
a check that you typed it correctly.
This is your real or displayed name. This is what will be shown
throughout the forum, in place of your username.
Example: John Doe
This is the place you live in. Supply at least the country.
Example: Innsbruck, Austria

This must be valid to register, and mail may be sent to this email
address by the forum, such as topic notifications. It is also
required if you ever wish to retrieve a forgotten password. Every
time you change it, a new temporary password will be sent to the

If you leave this box checked - it is by default - your email
address will not be visible throughout the forum. This is a very
useful option, as there are a lot of black sheep out there that
collect email address to spam them. Forum members can still contact
you using the boards instant messaging

Here you may choose the format that will be used for times throughout
- Time Offset
This is a + or - number to add or subtract to the current time
showing on the forum. Although the server resides in the USA,
the forum time is set to GMT (+ daylight saving), and your computer
may show yet another time.
Example: Forum time shows 13:28, but your time is 14:28
(you're probably in central Europe): time Offset would be +1.
This is a brief message that you may type in. Signatures are appended
to each of your posts at display time, not at posting time, so
all posts (old and future ones) have the same signature. uBBC
code is allowed in your signature.
