My RAM-pack occasionally looses all data!

Somethimes when I switch my PSION on it erases my RAMpack. What's the problem? RAMpacks are powerded by a builtin battery. Judged by the technical specifications (Psion: est. livetime 5yr.) it is amazing that so many still do their duty! A RAMpacks with an empty battery works quite as usual until either it is removed from the organiser or the Organiser battery runs low or there is a power surge (i.e. when fitting the mains adapter) As these events physically erase all data, the only thing the organiser can do afterwards is 'Seizing Pack C:' Be warned: Because of their dependecy on a backup battery, RAMpacks have become a very risky storage medium by now! You can't tell if a RAMpack is alive if it's inside the Organiser. Desaster may strike you at any time... Please consider to change the pack battery!
