Datafiles become files with an .ODB extension. These are ordinary text files, where each record is put on one line and tab characters (ASCII 9) are used to separate the fields of the record.

Procedures become files with an .OPL extension. These are ordinary text files, containing the OPL source that was typed in. No tab character should be used in an .OPL file as some versions of the CommsLink software will report an error when uploading an OPL file containing tabs.
