What is the 'Comms Link'?

The CommsLink adds a standard serial (RS232) port to the Organiser.

Basically it is a small box to be plugged onto the top slot of the organiser, a cable and a connector plug. The box contains serial I/O hardware, and the software to access it.

Whenever you fit the commslink and press ON in main menu, an extra menu item, 'Comms' appears, which gives access to the software. Also there are extra OPL commands available.

The Commslink provides the Psion Link Protocol (and XModem) for reliable error checked connections to a PC.
