Addtel is an ADDress TELephone book application.
It's got far more functions than that though!

Written for the XP.  An LZ version is available - still more features.

Fits on a 16k datapak.

Read ADDTEL.TXT; the instruction manual.

FREEWARE (non commercial use only)

Mike,

Just reading through all the old posts and see you have an AddTel for the LZ.  Is this available to members or not?  If so have you uploaded it anywhere?

Thanks,

Steve

This was something I meant to do a while ago, but it's those darned 'Round Tuits' - so hard to come by these days.

AddTel LZ is a complete re-write of the XP version and I did intend to merge the two at some point - this was 1992...

Anyway, the XP & LZ versions both use the same data fields, so if you've used the XP version, then migration is a no brainer.

There are a few other functions in this version - multiple find & replace and other stuff - in short, much more of an application that you would want to use on a daily basis.

I found - still do, that the LZ is still effective at what it was designed for and this is reflected in the design of "AddTel LZ"

Please download the zip.  This is the pack image, complete with a key in it - I'm still looking for the source code that implemented that  Anyway, it should run O.K.

As always, freeware, based on non-commercial usage rights.

Mike,

I've downloaded the zip, thank you.  However, if I try to make a pack or to split the OPK the error message "Addtel.opk not found" is received.  If I right click and check its properties it shows a file size of approx 16k, so there is something there.  Any advice please?

Thanks,

Hi Steve,

sorry to hear you're having problems.  Anyway, I did some digging and I've found the original files for Addtel!  It involved removing them from an archive created using XTREE, if you can remember that one

Anyway, all the source files, the notes, everything is in here, so you can see what I did and what I was thinking when I did it [not much, I'd wager]

Have Fun!

Mike
